Lenzkirch clock factory was the finest clock factory in the Black Forest region and this clock is no exception. The Lenzkirch crest is stamped on the clock's back plate as well as the serial number 179440.

This is an eight-day time and strike clock. The clock strikes the hour on a gong and has a pleasant sound. These clocks were placed in post offices throughout Europe.
