This clock is larger than most British dial clocks having a fourteen inch dial. The high quality eight-day movement has tapered plates and fine crafted pillars.

The clock's bezel is made with heavy cast brass and has the original clock hands. The Tetley Co made beer and tea in Manchester, which is one of England's largest cities. This clock was very likely the master clock for the company and was kept in the timekeepers office.
