This is a first class example of a fine clock with all the desirable attributes. It has an all original 12 inch dial with spade hands and heavy cast brass bezel. The chain Fusee movement is original to the case and stamped with serial number 2482. The dial surround is mahogany and the case is mahogany with dove tailed joints. The case has a functional side and bottom door complete with lock and key.
The dial shows the George V crest indicating it is a government clock. The serial number 2482 is an inventory number for maintenance records.
