This clock has a stunning case, styled after an Egyptian taste. The case has a swan neck pediment and features an ebony inlayed double-headed eagle. The front facing pillars are modeled after Egyptian figures complete with head dresses.
The case is made from an exceptional piece of flame mahogany, the patterns on both the base and door are fantastic. The dial measures fourteen inches and is signed by the maker. The corners of the dial are painted with one of the four seasons. The moon dial feature a painted nautical and city scene.
The eight-day weight driven movement has an anchor escapement and strikes the hour on an English bell.
