This is a fine example of the Seth Thomas flagship line of table clocks. This clock has a high grade mahogany cabinet case with shaded marquetry. A six inch convex silvered dial and brass sash with convex beveled glass.
This clock is described as having Sonora chimes. It plays Westminster chimes using four bells every quarter hour and strikes the hour using a fifth bell. The chimes may be silenced by a leaver on the side. This clock contains two independent movements one for the time/strike and one just for the chimes. The clock runs for eight days and is all original.
